JAUME MONTSERRAT – Mitte Barcelona

With a series of drawings Jaume accommodates all the elements, from a distance, which remind him Barcelona. His intention was to draw from tourists to homeless from simple street furniture to  iconic buildings, from paintings of Miro topolitical graffitis, tattoos, people selling beer in the street, by the sea, skateboards, etc. In summary, the good and bad of the city which never sleeps.

For this he used the image overlay two-tone and the intercalation of a more realistic finish, based on photographs, one more gestural, dividing sketches made everyday on the subway, on the street, etc..

Bio

Jaume recently returned from Pilsen (Czech Republic) where he finished his studies in illustration which began in Llotja Escola (Barcelona); an experience repeated after finalizing  in the Netherlands in 2010 and began studying painting at Escola Massana (Barcelona).
