"City "

La serie City nos muestra una mirada simpática y humorística de esas escenas cotidianas donde nos encontramos inmersos en nuestro día a día en la ciudad. Transeúntes, coches, semáforos, todos agolpados en constante movimiento.


" City"

The City series shows us a nice and humorous view of everyday scenes where you are immersed in our day to day in the city . Passersby , cars , traffic lights, all crowded in constant motion.

Biografia 

Iván Bravo es ilustrador y diseñador gráfico (Elisava, 2005). Ha trabajado para marcas como Coca-Cola, Lay's, Banc Sabadell, Regal seguros, instituciones como la Unión Europea y publicaciones como Monográfica.org, entre otros. Cree que todo soporte puede ser habitado por ilustración, pero deben relacionarse íntima y lúdicamente. Le encanta transitar por una fina línea entre el concepto y el humor.

Su trabajo ha sido expuesto en España, Estados Unidos, Francia, Italia y Portugal. Su etiqueta de vino para La Vinya del Vuit recibió un premio Laus plata (ADG-FAD 2012). Ha dirigido un par de vídeos didácticos premiados en Londres (Historia de las Olimpiadas - Shortlist, AOI Awards 2013) y Barcelona (Historia de la Tipografía - Laus bronce, ADG-FAD 2013).



Biography 


Iván Bravo is an illustrator and graphic designer ( Elisava , 2005). He has worked for brands such as Coca -Cola , Lay's , Banc Sabadell, Regal Insurance , institutions such as the European Union and  Monográfica.org publications , among others. He believes in that all support can be habited by illustration, but should relate intimately and playfully . He loves to transit on a fine line between the concept and humor.

His work has been exhibited in Spain , USA, France , Italy and Portugal. His wine label for the Vuit The Vinya received a Silver Laus (ADG -FAD 2012) prize. He has directed a couple of videos which were  awarded in London (History of the Olympics - Shortlist , AOI Awards 2013) and Barcelona ( History of Typography - Bronze Laus , ADG- FAD 2013).

"Before it was"

Nuestro proyecto surge a partir de la canción "Before it was" de la banda islandesa Asonat. Presentamos una interpretación gráfica de sus componentes.Nos centramos en la investigación de la luz y las sombras, las siluetas, su movimiento y repeticiones para hablar de temporalidad y nostalgia. 


"Before it was"

Our project emerges from the song "Before it was" of  the Icelandic band Asonat. We present a graphical interpretation of components. We focus on the research of light and shadows, silhouettes, their movement and repetition to discuss timing and nostalgia.

Maga i Seba. Somos dos, del noreste Europeo y del sudoeste Latinoamericano. Barcelona nos reunió y desde el año 2009 trabajamos juntos en el mundo creativo. Formamos un pequeño estudio de Ilustración y Animación llamado TugaMOVIL donde intentamos dar valor único a cada proyecto que desarrollamos investigando todo tipo de técnicas - manuales y digitales - para darle un carácter especial y propio a la transformación de nuestras ideas en imágenes.



Biography 


Maga i Seba . We are two, a north-east European and a southwest Latin American. Barcelona brought us together since 2009 and we work together in the creative world. We are a small studio of Illustration and animation called TugaMOVIL where we try to give unique value to each project that we develop researching all kinds of techniques - manual and digital - for a special and unique character in transformation of our ideas into images.

"As you wish"

La serie "As you wish" parte del concepto de destino. Mamíferos de fuerte simbología en la cultura nipona son los personajes elegidos para invitar a la reflexión sobre la poderosa influencia sobrenatural, que guía el camino y la vida de todo ser vivo. El humo los envuelve , simbolizando esta omnipresente fuerza que a todos nos acompaña.

Su propia voluntad no marca su porvenir. Son la suerte, las fuerzas del azar los que juegan finalmente un papel determinante en la evolución de los personajes.


"As you wish"

The serie "As you wish" is part of the concept destiny. Mammals, strong symbolism in Japanese culture are the characters chosen to invite the reflection on the powerful supernatural influence, which guides the path and the life of every living thing. Smoke surrounds them symbolizes this omnipresent force which joins us all.

Their own will do not mark their future. Only luck and the forces of fate play a decisive role in the evolution of the characters.

Biografía 


Honey es una artista local de Tarragona basada en Barcelona. Llegada del mundo del graffiti en 2002 bajo el nombre de Honeykill, su trabajo ha evolucionado con una fuerte influencia nipona, plasmando personajes del reino animal ataviados en kimonos. Honey trabaja como ilustradora y diseñadora coordinando también algunos proyectos relacionados con el street art.



Biography


Honey is a local artist from Barcelona Tarragona. Coming to the world of graffiti in 2002 under the name Honeykill, her work has evolved with a strong Japanese influence, reflecting the animal kingdom characters dressed in kimonos. Honey works as an illustrator and designer, also coordinating some projects related to street art.

Make A Wish

Dejamos algo atrás, termina un año y empezamos otro. Justo un instante, es la frontera entre dos tiempos, entre nuevas decisiones, nuevos y viejos deseos. Muere un periodo de tiempo y empieza otro. La muerte y la vida, el renacer. Hay, siempre, algo que muere en nosotros (bueno o malo) y algo que nace, o renace en nuestro interior. Un punto y a parte, constante. Quienes somos? Lo viejo? Lo nuevo? Lo vivido? Lo que nos queda por vivir? El presente es justo un instante que se desvanece a cada paso; el pasado es una bruma borrosa y el futuro un horizonte de anhelos que se desdibuja. Entonces, que ocurre si se nos cumplen nuestros deseos? Que deseamos? Hasta donde llegará nuestra codicia y nuestra estupidez?


Make A Wish


We leave something behind, a year ends and another begins. Just a moment, is the border between two times, between new decisions, new and old desires. A period dies and another one begins. The death and life, the rebirth. Something always dies in us (good or bad) and something is born, or reborn within. A point and a part, constantly. Who are we? The old? The new? The vivid? What we have left to live? The present is just a moment that vanishes at every step, the past is a blurry haze and future a horizon longing to fade. So what happens if we fulfilled our wishes? We want? How far will  our greed and our stupidity reach ? 

Biografía 


Cristòfol Pons (Menorca 1981), graduado en Artes Aplicadas al Muro por la “Escola Massana, y licenciado en Bellas Artes por la “Universitat de Barcelona”. Destacan las exposiciones individuales en la galería ADN o en la berlinesa “Vierter-Stock”. Ademàs de otras colectivas como en la galería Luis Adelantado de Valencia o Louis 21 de Palma de Mallorca. También podemos tomar atención en la edición del primer libro de poesía ilustrada para iPad a nivel internacional (Atem Books, 2012.). La trayectoria de Pons se ha visto reconocida en diferentes ocasiones, obteniendo el premio “Sant Antoni” a artista menor de treinta años, en 2007. La selección en la Xè convocatoria de la galería Luís Adelantado de Valencia o el 1er premio del “MAE”, “Menorca Art Emergent”.



Biography 


Cristòfol Pons (Menorca 1981), graduated in Applied Arts on the Wall from "Escola Massana", and has Bachelor degree of Fine Arts from the" Universitat de Barcelona ". Emphasizing his solo exhibitions in the gallery ADN or in the Berlin gallery "Vierter-Stock". In addition to other collectives such as Luis Adelantado Gallery in Valencia or Louis 21 Palma de Mallorca. JanPisarik. Pintor, ilustrador y grafista. Nace en la antigua Checoslovaquia, un pais que ya no existe. Ahora vive entre Republica Checa y España.

Le encanta pintar en acrilico. Su técnica grafica preferida es la litografia. Su pintor "guru" Paul Klee.  

Su obra pictórica se reparte en diversas colecciones privadas de Austria, Belgica, Brasil, España, Italia, Republica Checa y Turquía.

Ademas de exponer su obra pictórica, colabora habitualmente con el mundo teatral y el mundo editorial: en Praga se encarga de la imagen de ABC y Rokoko Tetaros, sus ilustraciones se pueden ver en diferentes revistas de la República Checa y cuenta en su haber con varios libros publicados como ilustrador infantil, juvenil y adulto.



JanPisarik. Artist, illustrator and designer. Born in the former Czechoslovakia, a country that no longer exists. He now lives between Czech Republic and Spain.

He loves to paint in acrylic.His preferred technique is  lithograph. His  "guru" painter is Paul Klee.

His paintings are distributed in various private collections in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic and Turkey.

In addition to exhibiting his paintings, he collaborates with the theater world and the publishing world: in Prague he is in charge of the image of ABC and Rokoko Tetaros, his artwork can be seen in various magazines in Czech Republic and his credit in several books published as an illustrator infantile, juvenile and adult.

"Sleepers"


De la fascinación por la vulnerabilidad, fragilidad e intimidad de la figura en reposo surge mi trabajo. Se articula y se entrelaza entre dos técnicas distintas; el dibujo, sobre todo en tinta sobre papel, y la instalación de retratos sobre muros,  paredes abandonadas (street art) o maderas mediante hilos que tejen tramas y unen puntos generando dibujos tridimensionales de gran formato.

Mis dibujos surgen de la observación del cuerpo dormido y reflexionan acerca del estado no consciente del ser humano como metáfora del sueño eterno.


"Sleepers"


Fascination by the vulnerability, fragility and intimacy of the figure resting my work arises. Articulates and intertwines between two different techniques; drawing, especially in ink on paper, and installation of portraits on walls, abandoned walls (street art) or by timber frames and threads that weave together and forming points that generate three-dimensional large formats.

My drawings arise from observing the sleeping body and reflect the unconscious state as a metaphor for eternal sleep.

Biografía 


Julia nació en 1986 en Paris. En 2004 entró en la escuela de arte Les Ateliers de Sèvres en Paris, y el año siguiente fue aceptada para entrar en la universidad de la Sorbonne para estudiar Bellas Artes. Terminó su carrera en 2011 con un doble Master de Artes plásticas. En 2008 empezó a exponer su trabajo y en marzo 2010 ganó el premio del festival Ici et Demain y expusó su trabajo en el Point Ephémère, prestigioso centro de arte contemporaneo de Paris. En mayo 2012 ganó el premio "Jeune Talent" - Joven Talento - del proyecto Horizons Art - Nature y realizó una instalación a gran escala en el acantilado de un volcan en el centro de Francia, este mismo año realizó también su primer exposición en un museo, el MARQ de Clermont-Ferrand. 

Desde septiembre 2012 vive en Barcelona, y desde entonces expusó su trabajo en distintos lugares como la galeria La Pan, la galeria Hartmann-LaSanta, la galeria Visible o el centro de arte Mutuo. Este octubre pasado ganó el premio del festival WeArt 2013. 




Biography 


She was born in 1986 in Paris . In 2004 entered the art school Les Ateliers de Sèvres in Paris , and the following year she was accepted to enter the Sorbonne University to study Fine Arts. She finished her career in 2011 with a double Master of Visual Arts . In 2008 she began to exhibit her work and in March 2010 she won the prize of the festival Ici et Demain and exhibited her work at the Point Ephemere , prestigious contemporary art center of Paris . In May 2012, she won the " Jeune Talent " award - Young Talent - the Horizons Art Project - Nature and conducted a large-scale installation on the cliff of a volcano in the center of France, the same year she had her first exhibition in a museum the MARQ Clermont -Ferrand .

From September 2012 she lives in Barcelona, and since then she exhibited her work in various locations as the gallery  La Pan , the Hartmann- LASANTA gallery, the gallery Visible ot  Mutuo art center . This last October she won the festival Weart 2013.
