Nacida en 1958 en Valdelacalzada (Extremadura), creci\u00f3 en Francia, residiendo primero en el Gers y posteriormente en Hendaya, ciudad fronteriza que ha sido desde entonces su puerto de amarre.
\nApasionada desde temprana edad por la fotograf\u00eda, fue en 1988 cuando realmente se profesionaliz\u00f3 como fot\u00f3grafa; fecha de su partida a Argelia. All\u00ed trabaj\u00f3 en el Proyecto de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo Iherrir (Tassili Najjer) por petici\u00f3n de la UNESCO y, seguidamente, para el Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Forestal (INRF) estudiando la fauna y flora de Djurdjura y a su vez para la Unidad de Investigaciones de Zonas \u00c1ridas (URZA).<\/p>\n

Pronto Angela se har\u00e1 reportera y, al mismo tiempo, redactora y fot\u00f3grafa de prensa. Siendo corresponsal de la Agencia France Presse, colabora con los peri\u00f3dicos El Wattan, L\u00b4Observateur, Le Monde Diplomatique y Lib\u00e9ration. Cubre, entre 1990-91, los acontecimientos pol\u00edticos argelinos, pero tambi\u00e9n los campos de refugiados del Frente Polisario (movimiento de liberaci\u00f3n sub-sahariano).

\nElla aprovecha sus reportajes (conflicto del Ulster, conflicto Tuareg, indios de Chiapas) para realizar trabajos personales, editando as\u00ed un libro Regards d\u00b4Enfants (\u201cMiradas de ni\u00f1os\u201d, que cuenta, en su pr\u00f3logo, con el notable escritor Edouard Manet), exponiendo, dicho trabajo fotogr\u00e1fico, en \u00c1frica del Norte, Europa y Am\u00e9rica Latina. <\/p>\n

En 2004, funda la asociaci\u00f3n Begiradak (\u00abMiradas\u00bb, en lengua vasca), reagrupando a una veintena de fot\u00f3grafos aficionados as\u00ed como profesionales. M\u00e1s tarde se integra a Bomberos Socorro Internacional y Desarrollo, O.N.G. de solidaridad internacional ,de la cual es miembro activo actualmente.Esta organizaci\u00f3n tiene por objeto ayudar a reducir las desigualdades en el campo de la educaci\u00f3n, formaci\u00f3n y ayuda a obtener el acceso a las necesidades primarias: agua potable, alimentaci\u00f3n, letrinas, salud etc.\u00bb<\/p>\n
