Jonathan Dalton actualmente reside entre Australia e Irlanda, desarrollando con \u00e9xito su carrera art\u00edstica en ambos sitios.
\nHa recibido prestigiosos premios de la Royal Hibernian Academy y de la Royal Ulster Academy, dos de las instituciones art\u00edsticas m\u00e1s importantes de Irlanda. Ha vivido y trabajado en San Francisco, Barcelona, Londres y Granada.
\nEstudi\u00f3 filosof\u00eda en el University College de Dubl\u00edn gradu\u00e1ndose en 1999.<\/p>\n

\u00abEmpirical Ambiguities\u00bb is a collection of work painted during the artist\u2019s time in Barcelona from 2010-2012. These are paintings about moments; moments of contained drama, moments of change, moments of regret. These are paintings about subtle, nuanced and complex interactions. These are paintings of careful observation.
\nThe artist demonstrates an astute awareness of what will engage the viewer. The surreal often sits hand in hand with the mundane, the colour and tone is frequently dramatic, the content often troubling.
\nThis collection of paintings seems almost a journey, but one where the artist is unwilling or unable to explain the destination. The artist serves almost as a spotlight, illuminating moments of observed uncertainty, moments, that is, of empirical ambiguity.<\/p>\n

Bio <\/p>\n

Jonathan Dalton now lives between Australia and Ireland, maintaining a successful art practice in both places.
\nHe has received prestigious awards from the Royal Hibernian Academy and the Royal Ulster Academy, two of the most important art institutions in Ireland. He has lived and worked in San Francisco, London and Granada.
