Cada una de las piezas que realiza Estrella Archs la aproxima más y más al mundo del arte. La pieza, una escultura, que aparecerá en la Pop Up Window de Mitte avanza lo que se podrá ver en la muestra que Wool Modern presentará en Shanghai próximamente y que durante tres años itinerará por todo el mundo.
«Salvador» es la culminación de un proceso de investigación sobre las nuevas posibilidades de la lana y que ha necesitado un soporte como la reproducción fiel de su mismo cuerpo en una posición de levitación y de meditación, demostración absoluta de que danza y movimiento han estado presentes en su obra gracias a colaboraciones con el Royal Ballet de Londres o la Ópera Garnier de París. Pura creatividad de haute couture convertida en una escultura mágica.
Bio
Nacida en Barcelona, Estrella Archs se trasladó a Londres para estudiar en la prestigiosa escuela inglesa Central Saint Martins. Estrella Archs ha desarrollado su trayectoria creativa en Paris, Milan y Florencia dirigiendo los estudios de Nina Ricci, Cacharel, Emanuel Ungaro, Emilio Pucci, Prada… y actualmente concentra su actividad en sus propias colecciones y obras. Le fascina trabajar de forma multidisciplinar, llevando al límite materiales y procesos, hasta elevarlos a un estado único. Naturaleza, vida, lo orgánico… se traducen en piezas exquisitas por su movimiento, forma, tejido utilizado… y se entremezclan hasta conseguir vestir el alma que lo llevará…» Fashion for the soul»

Each piece that Estrella Archs makes gets closer and closer to the art world. The sculpture piece, which will be shown in the Pop Up Window of Mitte advances which can be seen in the sample presented in Shanghai Modern Wool soon and for three years which will travel worldwide.

Born in Barcelona, Estrella Archs moved to London to study at the prestigious Central Saint Martins English school Estrella Archs has developed her creative career in Paris, Milan and Florence directing studies of Nina Ricci, Cacharel, Emanuel Ungaro, Emilio Pucci, Prada … and currently focuses her activity on her own collections and works. She loves working in a multidisciplinary way, pushing the limits ofmaterials and processes, to raise them to a unique state.
